Once on this page please log into the recorder’s admin account. Default username: admin password: admin.

Gmail Account Settings

In order for recorder/IP camera to send an email with Gmail, we will need to allow access to less secure apps and make sure 2-Step Verification is disabled.

Step 1 To do this log into your Gmail account and the top right click on the app list icon and select My Account.

Step 2 Select Sign-In & Security on the new page.

Step 3 On the Sign-In & Security page scroll down and you will see 2-Step Verification make sure that it is set to Off

Step 4 Scroll down to the bottom you will fine Allow less secure apps: off. That needs to be turned On.

Troubleshooting Gmail Failing to Send

If you have done the steps above for Gmail Account Settings but still fails to send the email then we will need to check your email messages. Gmail sometimes sends an email to verify if the activity is being done to you.

In this case, you will get an email from Google <no-reply@accounts.google.com> saying New device signed in. Open the email and select Check Activity. It will take you to another page indicating the account being accessed, time, location, and IP address (WAN address). If that was you select YES and wait about 5 to 10 mins then try to send the test email again.
